With over 15 years of experience in learning and development, academia, and edtech, founder Tammy Bjelland  knew she was well-positioned to help remote workers and managers start their learning journeys and find the answers to these questions.

Our Team

Tammy Bjelland, Founder

Tammy started her professional career in academia. In 2011, she began working remotely in edtech, and became interested in the techniques and methods necessary for individuals to not only learn new skills, but to do so remotely. She has put her experience with learning and development, education, and edtech to work helping people achieve location-independent growth ever since. Tammy draws from her professional experience in edtech, publishing, higher ed, and training and development to drive the learning strategy and methodology behind all of Workplaceless’ learning programs.

Laurel Farrer, Director of Content

Laurel Farrer is a Distributed Operations Consultant that collaborates with the world's top remote-friendly companies to strengthen virtual communication, streamline digital processes, and develop long-distance management strategies. As lead subject matter expert and director of content for our learning programs, Laurel puts her years of experience with remote environments to work.

Olivia Rastello, QA Specialist

Olivia Rastello is a true believer in the online experience. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree online and is a graduate of Workplaceless’ Remote Work Certification program. Her experience of learning through a remote educational environment makes her especially empathetic to our clientele and drives her to create and support a seamless and approachable platform for people to enjoy.
